Life Is What You Make It

Life is what you make it. It will not always be peaches and sunflowers but once you start each day with God and a positive mindset you can do anything. Each day that you wake from your slumber is a new day and a new start. A new day to start where you are.

Don’t wait until it’s too late to start, start today, start now, whatever it is just start. You won’t always have everything you need/figured out to get where you want to. What you can do is work on it daily until you reach that goal. If you want to start a business, a blog, YouTube whatever it is, work and save until you have reached a point where you can start. You don’t have to get everything at once but start with whatever you have and then grow and improve.

There will be days when you don’t feel like getting out of bed, days when you feel like bursting into tears. On those days remember it’s ok to feel and cry and do whatever it is that you need to. My one piece of advice to you is to try to never stay down for more than a day. Even if you’re down for more than a day never let it go beyond a week. The longer it take to find the strength to keep pushing, the deeper you sink yourself, which may lead to depression and anxiety.

Live in the now

Learn each day how to pick yourself up and how to keep pushing. Say your daily affirmations, and have worship/spend time with God. Learn new things about yourself each day. Prioritize self-care and just let God lead you. Each week/month treat yourself to something, whatever it is, maybe it’s getting a self-care product or service. Taking yourself out or just doing something fun.

Life is in no way perfect and it never will be but savour those moments, and enjoy it as much as you can. All work and no play will make you dull. You don’t have to have money to have fun. Want to go on that vacation, start saving for it, even if it’s once a year, take that hotel trip, travel to somewhere new, buy that thing you’ve always wanted. You don’t have to go out of budget to live you can live within your budget. Don’t wait until you’ve reached certain goals to live, live in the now, live in this moment in time.

Learn to forgive, move on, take risks, improve on yourself daily, and treat others the way you want to be treated. Life will always be what you make it, so make it a good one.
