It is a rich source of protein, omega-3, fatty acids, fiber, antioxidants and so much more. For those who don’t eat meat. Improve digestion With the high fiber content that the seeds have it maybe able to improve your digestion as well as your overall gut health.
Helps in reducing blood sugar Chia seeds can improve your insulin sensitivity as stabilize your blood sugar. After eating depending on what you ate you can have a spike in your blood sugar level, having chia seeds will help in reducing that spike. People who struggle with diabetes should incorporate these seeds more into their diet. You can add it in your smoothies, on top of your oatmeal, fruit bowl/fruit parfait and other amazing dishes.
