Benefits Of Charcoal
In today’s post, we will be talking about the Benefits Of Charcoal, especially activated charcoal. It offers a wide range of benefits, both for health and beauty. Here are some of the key benefits:
Health Benefits:
- Digestive Health: Charcoal can help alleviate gas, bloating, and indigestion. It works by binding to toxins in the stomach and digestive tract, preventing their absorption.
- Detoxification: Activated charcoal is known for its detoxifying properties. It can help remove toxins and chemicals from the body, making it a valuable substance for poison control and drug overdose situations.
- Hangover Relief: Activated charcoal may reduce the effects of alcohol poisoning and hangovers by absorbing alcohol and other toxins from the bloodstream.
- Oral Health: Charcoal-based toothpaste is popular for teeth whitening and promoting oral hygiene by removing stains and bacteria.
You may be saying it’s black and it has to taste bad!! but guess what it has no taste. When I’m having charcoal tea I always ensure I do 7 days as that’s just my preference or when needed. When the doctor gives you antibiotics he always gives you 7 days right? and that’s my reason for doing 7 days. Whatever herd I’m having I always do 7 days then take a break from it.
Activated Charcoal
Beauty Benefits:
- Skin Cleansing: Charcoal is a common ingredient in facial cleansers, masks, and scrubs. It is effective at drawing out impurities, unclogging pores, and reducing acne. You can purchase your charcoal soap HERE at my store.
- Exfoliation: Charcoal scrubs can provide gentle exfoliation, removing dead skin cells and leaving the skin looking fresher and smoother.
- Oil Control: Charcoal-based skincare products are excellent for people with oily or acne-prone skin. They help control excess oil and shine.
- Hair Care: Charcoal shampoos can help remove impurities and product buildup from the scalp and hair, resulting in cleaner, healthier locks.
- Reduction of Body Odor: Charcoal-based deodorants and body washes can effectively neutralize and eliminate body odor.
- Wound Healing: Activated charcoal can promote wound healing by absorbing bacteria and toxins from the wound, reducing the risk of infection.
It’s important to note that while charcoal has numerous benefits, it should be used with caution. Always follow product instructions and consult with a healthcare professional, especially when using it for health-related concerns. Additionally, not all charcoal products are the same, so it’s important to choose products from reputable brands.

Yesss! Activated charcoal is so underrated. I swear by it for helping with an uneasy stomach.
